Summary and Conclusion5-benzoyl-4-(3H-indol-3-yl)-6-methyl-3,4-dihydro-pyrimidin-2(1H)-one VIIx and [6-methyl-4-(3-phenoxyphenyl)-2-thioxo-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-pyrimidin-5-yl](phenyl)methanone VIIxxvii were very effective in inhibiting the Pgp mediated resistance ofcancer cell line, when measured in 4 micromol/ml/1million cells. Verapamil was taken asa standard in this study.492
