Section 13. Student/Teacher RatiosEach school is expected to adhere to the classroom student/teacher ratios outlined in the <strong>Bureau</strong>’sAcademic Standards guidelines pursuant to 25 CFR 36.11, and the national guidelines forcomprehensive community colleges and four year baccalaureate granting institutions.Section 14. Director’s Staffing DifferentialThe responsible <strong>of</strong>ficer <strong>of</strong> any school unable to meet the <strong>Bureau</strong> Academic Standards by reason <strong>of</strong> lack<strong>of</strong> suitable, qualified pr<strong>of</strong>essional personnel shall investigate and consider application for a Director’sStaffing Differential <strong>of</strong> sufficient size to bring pr<strong>of</strong>essional education salaries and benefits to a levelcomparable to the surrounding public school districts.Section 15. Faculty Lounge and FacilitiesA. Management will make every effort to provide a teacher lounge and adult restrooms whereverthese can be made available without new construction or major renovation.B. Education staff will be provided mailboxes for distribution <strong>of</strong> internal mail.C. Copying Machines will be made available for the production <strong>of</strong> lesson materials and execution <strong>of</strong>instructional duties.D. Where possible, and subject to budgetary constraints, a telephone with local access will beprovided in the teachers’ lounge.115
