Group or Class Grievance: The Union may file a single grievance under this procedure on behalf<strong>of</strong> any number <strong>of</strong> employees who have similar claims. Several grievances filed by differentemployees over an identical matter, filed at one or more <strong>of</strong>fices shall be combined and treated asa single grievance upon request <strong>of</strong> the Union.Section 10. Response to Step 1A. Management shall issue a final written response to the Employee/Union and Unionrepresentative (if designated) within ten (10) work days from receipt <strong>of</strong> the Step 1 grievance.The written response shall include:(1) Rationale for the decision made;(2) Name, Title, Address, and Telephone Number <strong>of</strong> the Management Official for the Step 2grievance.B. Either party may request a meeting or appropriate conference call be held on the matter. If thegrievant does not receive an answer within the designated time limit for responding to the Step 1grievance, it may be elevated by the Employee/Union or Union representative to Step 2.Section 11. Step 2 GrievancesIf the grievant does not accept the written decision, a Step 2 grievance may be filed within ten (10) workdays <strong>of</strong> receipt <strong>of</strong> the written decision to the next level supervisor.Section 12. Response to Step 2A.
