Article 7Information and PublicationsSection 1. List <strong>of</strong> EmployeesManagement will provide the Union President’s <strong>of</strong>fice with a <strong>bargaining</strong> unit roster in an electronicformat on a quarterly basis. This roster will identify each unit employee by name, duty location,organization and organizational code, duty station, occupational title and series, pay grade and step,FLSA status, and dues paying status. Mailing addresses for each duty station and a key to theorganizational codes will also be provided separately. Lists <strong>of</strong> new employees will be provided monthlyto the President’s <strong>of</strong>fice. Such lists shall contain the name and duty location <strong>of</strong> each newly hired<strong>bargaining</strong> unit employee.Section 2. PublicationsManagement agrees to put the Union national <strong>of</strong>fice on all appropriate mailing lists <strong>of</strong> personnel policiesand procedures, publications, and Management will notify the local Chief Steward <strong>of</strong> School Board andBoard <strong>of</strong> Regents meetings. Management agrees to provide any Executive Union Officer, on request,sections <strong>of</strong> internal agency publications dealing with personnel policies, procedures, and other mattersaffecting working conditions.Section 3. Telephone/Telefax ServiceUnion stewards, chief stewards, and other Union <strong>of</strong>ficials will be allowed to use electronic mail(E-Mail), <strong>of</strong>ficial telephones, and facsimile machines, printers, copy machines or any other standard<strong>of</strong>fice equipment for the purpose <strong>of</strong> conducting representational activities subject to approval <strong>of</strong> OfficialTime in accordance with Article 3, Official Time, and as long as representational activities do notinterfere with the conduct <strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong>fice business. Unit employees will be permitted to use E-Mail andtelephones to communicate with other employees in accordance with Department and <strong>Bureau</strong> Internet(and Intranet) and Government Equipment Use policies.Section 4. Internal Mail ServiceThe internal mail service <strong>of</strong> Management, excluding metered, franked, or other paid mail service, shallbe available to the Union. Sealed envelopes addressed to or by Union <strong>of</strong>ficials shall be processed in atimely manner and not be tampered with.Section 5. Facilities and EquipmentA. Each Union <strong>of</strong>ficial utilizing block grant <strong>of</strong>ficial time on an ongoing basis shall be furnished, ifavailable, secured private <strong>of</strong>fice space, telephones, desks, chairs, lockable file cabinets,computer, word processing programs, and otherwise available customary equipment.25
