(4) There are not conduct problems that would cause management to be concerned about theemployee's trustworthiness or dependability.(5) Costs <strong>of</strong> such an arrangement: The parties recognize that costs or cost savings intechnology, equipment, and telecommunications are considerations in decisions regardingparticipation in telework/telecommute arrangements. While it is expected thattelework/telecommute will require some costs, the costs involved may be too much t<strong>of</strong>inance an employee on telework/telecommute.(6) Technology/equipment needs: The parties recognize that existing and evolvingtechnology(ies) may allow or prevent an employee from participating in thetelework/telecommute program. The employee may need access to specific equipmentand/or will use the telephone extensively on telework/telecommute days. Suchtechnology/equipment may include:a. Long distance telephone usageb. Telephone usage (other than long distance)c. Computer/Laptop assigned to the employee's homed. Computer s<strong>of</strong>twaree. Modemf. Equipment maintenance and repairg. Remote technical assistanceh. Replacement <strong>of</strong> damaged or lost equipmenti. Fax capabilityj. Internet service provider50
