3.1 Starting and Exiting Transcription ModuleTo start and exit Transcription Module, perform the following procedures:.StartingAuto-startingExitingDictation Module and Transcription Module cannot be started simultaneously on thesame PC.An option exists to prevent automatic starting.StartingTo start Transcription Module, perform the following steps.Procedure A1. From the Windows Start menu,select [All Programs] → [Olympus DSS Player Pro] → [Transcription Module].The Transcription Module will start and the Main screen will appear.Procedure B1. Double-click a DSS or DSS Pro file through a tool such as Explorer.The Transcription Module will start and the Playback Control screen or Transcribe bar willappear.Auto-startingProcedure1. Connect a supported device to a USB port on the PC.The Transcription Module will automatically start and the Main screen, Playback Controlscreen or Transcribe bar will appear.ExitingIf you are on the Playback Control screen or Transcribe bar , return to the Main screen and then exitTranscription Module.Procedure1.
