Only one statistically marginal age difference emerged forneglect. As Figure 4–8 shows, the lowest rate <strong>of</strong> Endangerment St<strong>and</strong>ard neglect, 21.6per 1,000 children ages 15 to 17, is lower than the rate <strong>of</strong> 33.1 per 1,000 children ages 6to 8.Categories <strong>of</strong> Endangerment St<strong>and</strong>ard <strong>Abuse</strong>The NIS–4 identified significant age differences in Endangerment St<strong>and</strong>ardphysical abuse <strong>and</strong> emotional abuse.
