Evaluative coding statistics. The evaluative coding began with the first trainingsession on August 28, 2006 and ended with the final resolution of discrepant cases on October10, 2007. The tables below present the number of cases coded and the overall agreement ratesand Kappa. Although 12,334 children were reliability coded, not all these children met the preevaluativeeligibility requirements for full evaluative coding. Of these children, 6, 950 met thepre-evaluative coding eligibility requirements and moved on to full evaluative coding of theirmaltreatment(s). Table A–8 provides the number of children who were reliability coded by theirpre-evaluative coding status.Table A–7.
