person objected to and the reasons <strong>for</strong> the objections are not filled up in appropriatecolumns. Form 7 requires the objector to give full particulars of the entry in the rollrelating to him. This requirement should be borne in mind and whenever it is notsatisfied, the objection may be refused to be received under Rule 17.24. All applications in Form 8 <strong>for</strong> correction must indicate in part IV the exact detailsof entries to be corrected. If the details are not indicated then the Form can be refused tobe received. The applicant must be advised to attach supporting documents <strong>for</strong> thecorrections sought to be incorporated.Handling Of Forms Thus Received:25. Every Designated Officer including the BLOs shall prepare, in duplicate, a list ofclaims in Form 9 (Format in Annexure 5.8), a list of objections to the inclusion of namesin Form 10 (Format in Annexure 5.9), a list of objections to particulars in Form 11(Format in Annexure 5.10) and a list of transposition applications in Form 11A (Formatin Annexure 5.11). The BLO shall prepare such lists <strong>for</strong> the Forms received by him/herand display it at the office of the Designated Officer <strong>for</strong> the area. The designated officershould keep exhibited one copy of each of the 4 lists on the notice board in his office <strong>for</strong>the Forms received by him directly and <strong>for</strong> the Forms received by the BLO. Maintenanceof such lists is mandatory under provisions of Rule 15 of RER 1960. He shall send acopy of each list to the ERO.26. In the like manner as explained in paragraph 24 above <strong>for</strong> the designated officers,the ERO shall also maintain, under Rule 16 of RER 1960, in duplicate, the 4 lists inForms 9, 10, 11 and 11A and enter thereon the particulars of every claim or objection asand when he receives it directly or from the AERO or Designated <strong>Officers</strong> or the BLOs.He shall also keep exhibited the list on the notice board in his office until the disposal ofall claims and objections.Disposal of Claims and Objections:27. EROs have to ensure that all applications received after draft publication withinthe prescribed time period are duly disposed in accordance with law and directions andinstructions of the <strong>Commission</strong>. First of all applications received shall need be digitalizedusing ERMS software. Please refer the ERMS guidelines in this regard.28. Thereafter, the ERO should segregate all Forms 6 that do not have particulars ofprevious EPIC but are more than 25 years in age. Such applicants must have giventheir full residential address of the previous place. From that residential address, a checkshould be run to find out from the roll of that place posted on the website of CEOconcerned, to find out whether that person is already enrolled there. If the person isenrolled, then the applicant should be in<strong>for</strong>med about enrolment at more than one placebeing an offence and advised to get the name deleted from other places.29. In case of applications with previous EPIC numbers available in Form 6, the EROwill not need any more proof other than the fact of shifting to current address. The EROshall enroll the name and in<strong>for</strong>m the ERO of previous place to delete that name.43
