draft roll. The final roll (Supplements) should also be prepared in the given <strong>for</strong>matprescribed <strong>for</strong> the draft rolls. The supplements should have 3 components, namely,Component I - additions, Component II - deletions and Component III – corrections. .Thesupplements shall be generated using ERMs software.These components of the supplement should be in the same languages as that of the draft(basic) electoral roll. Serial Numbers <strong>for</strong> general voters and <strong>for</strong> service voters inComponent I (additions) of the supplement will be in continuation of respective last serialnumber in the previous electoral roll published as draft. In case where there are no entriesin one or the other of the Components, the entry ‘nil’ should be made below the relevantheading. If all the Components are ‘nil’, a ‘nil’ final lists of amendments should beprepared.Printing of Final Roll7. As soon as the final lists of amendments in respect of the parts have beenprepared and finalized, a PDF copy of the supplements, complete with summary sheet,should be generated <strong>for</strong> printing using ERMS . The name and designation of the EROshould be printed at the end of all copies of the final lists of amendments including‘nil’ lists of amendments.8. Simultaneously, (and be<strong>for</strong>e printing is completed) the pdf copy of supplementsshould be appended to the basic roll (draft roll) and the complete set of the electoral rollshould be put on the CEO’s website in public domain with search facility by name, bylocality (address) etc.9. As soon as the roll (including the last part relating to service voters is ready) inrespect of the entire constituency, the title page with date of publication noted thereinshould be added at the top. The title page, table of contents, the general part of theelectoral roll and the last part of the electoral roll in that order may be stitched together.The electoral roll <strong>for</strong> the constituency thus <strong>for</strong>med should be published on the dateappointed <strong>for</strong> the purpose in the office of the ERO. This is a statutory publication. This isto be done by displaying the notice in Form 16 (Annexure 6.1) and making the electoralroll available <strong>for</strong> inspection. The ERO should take appropriate action to see that the rollsare carefully arranged and are completed in all respects be<strong>for</strong>e they are published. Thefinally published roll shall also be displayed <strong>for</strong> public at the concerned polling also <strong>for</strong>a period of one week .Free Supply of Copies to Recognized Political Parties10. After every publication each ERO (and the CEO) is required to supply, free ofcost, two complete sets of electoral rolls to all the recognized political party in the Stateconcerned. At the stage of final publication, complete set would mean the electoral rollpublished as draft with all the supplements therein if any (including the last part ofService Voters) and the supplements published at the stage of final publication.11. Of the two copies to be supplied, one copy shall be printed hard copy and theother copy will be soft PDF copy.56
