Broad Status
a) Full 461 acres of land required for
plant facility had been acquired, 633
acres of land required for Ash Pond
is in advanced stage of acquisition.
b) NOC received from Orissa Pollution
Control Board on 21.09.2006.
MOEF clearance received on
07.12.2007.
c) Applied for coal linkage to MOC
but allocation not yet received.
d) EPC contract awarded to SEPCO-
III. Advance of Rs 56300 Lakhs
paid for all the 4 units. Contractor
had mobilized at site and started
pre- construction activities.
e) First Unit (Unit-2): Boiler drum
lifted on 02.03.2008. Boiler Hyd.
Test completed on 28.07.09. TG box
up completed. BLU completed on
26.06.10. CT ready in all respects.
f) Second unit (Unit-1): Boiler drum
lifted on 26.04.08. TG Box-up
completed. CT shell casting
completed. HT completed. BLU
expected in 08/10.
g) Unit-3: Boiler drum lifted on
09.06.2008. HT completed. CT shell
casting completed.
h) Unit-4: Boiler drum lifted on
23.11.2008. HT expected in 08/10.
CT shell casting completed.
i) Civil work in CHP area is in
progress.
j) Switchyard erection of all
equipments for Unit-2 completed.
ICT-1 testing completed. Erection of
equipments for other units in
progress.
k) Chimney: shell casting completed
for both chimneys. Flue can
erection for first & second units
completed. Work is in progress for
other units.
l) Double circuit from CPP to
Budipada station ready for
evacuation of power from first unit
into state grid.
