natural gas. Gas Transportation
agreement with Assam Gas Company Ltd.
through existing Gas supply line to NTPS.
Power Evacuation A LILO of about 1 KM will be
constructed to connect with the existing
Namrup – Tinsukia 220 kV D/C line.
Broad Status
- 30 Acres of land required for the
project is available. Store sheds/
Roads/ Township/ Misc building
exists. Const power/ Water /
boundry wall exists.
- Work of total erection,
commissioning, PG Test and all
BOPs (ordering and execution)
has been allotted to M/s NBPPL
(Joint venture of NTPC & BHEL)
on nomination basis with
approval of APGCL.
- NBPPL have awarded the
contract for soil investigation to
M/s CE Testing Co. Pvt. Ltd.
Kolkata. Work commenced on
22.08.2009 and completed on
14.10.2009. Report awaited.
- Main plant civil works started in
4/10.
