Broad Status
a) Unit synchronized on 26.12.08.
b) Lignite firing completed on 10 th Feb’09.
Unit is running at 80-90 MW with 400
PPM. BHEL and RRVUNL gradually
increased a load of 125 M on 28.6.09.
c) To reduce SOx level from 3800 ppm to
300 ppm at full load of 125 MW, efforts
were continued for increasing lime
dosing as per norms fixed by BHEL.
d) Unit achieved full load on 6.11.2009
with 280 ppm Sox level.
a) M/s Tata Consultancy Engineers have been
appointed as Consultant.
b) CHP: Order has been awarded on M/s Techpro
System Ltd., Chennai on 1.11.06.
c) DM Plant: Order has been awarded on M/s
Thermax, Pune on 26.04.07.
d) Cooling Tower: Order has been awarded to M/s
PCT. 8 cells of Induced Draft cooling tower has
been completed.
e) AHP: Bottom ash hopper is in progress. Dry ash
collection system is nearing completion.
Unit-1
a) Unit synchronised on 16.4.09
b) Coal firing completed in Oct’09 and Unit
commissioned on 30 th Oct’09.
Unit-2
a) Boiler erection started on 21.04.07, drum lifted
on 26 th Nov’07, hydraulic test conducted on 21 st
Apr’09 and light up completed on 31 st Dec’09.
b) Unit synchronized on 31.03.2010.
c) Unit comm. on 04.05.10
