CW System: All works completed.
Boiler
-Boiler erection started on 12.12.07. Boiler
drum lifted on 14.08.08.Hydro test
completed on 25.03.09. Light Up
completed on 15.12.09.SBO commenced
on 08.03.10 and completed on 17.03.10.
TG
-Condenser erection started on 05.01.09.
TG erection started on 24.01.09.Box up
completed on 02.12.09.Oil flushing
commenced on 27.01.10 and completed
on 05.03.10. TG put on barring gear on
30.03.10.
- Unit synchronized on oil on 09.04.10 and
coal fired on 22.06.10.
- Unit commissioned i.e. achieved full load on
26.06.10.
CHP: One stream to feed coal to bunkers
commissioned on 22.03.10.
AHP: Work required for synchronization with
coal firing has been completed. Balance works
like pipe laying for disposal wet fly ash, LP
piping in pump house, structural erection of
collector tank in progress.
Reasons for delay:
• Delay in completion of civil works for start of
Condenser & TG erect-ion.
• Late placement of CHP&AHP extension
works.
Availability of Coal
- Boiler erection started on 17.11.08 and in
progress . Drum lifted on 06/04/09. HT
completed on 25 th Jun’10.
- Erection of 4 mills in progress.
- ESP erection started on 19.10.08 and Mills erection
is in progress.
- Foundation work of fans and mills in progress.
-Fabrication & erection of power house, bunker
columns and beams in progress.
- Chimney – Shell concreting completed. Finishing
works are in progress.
- ND Cooling Tower: Shell completed. Erection of
grillage columns in progress.
- Condenser erection commenced on 31.03.10.
- TG erection activities commenced in
Jun’10.
- CW pump house :Staging for pump floor in
progress. Laying and encasement of CW pipe in
progress.
- Clarified water pump house slab concreting is in
progress.
- DM Plant: Roof slab concreting in progress.
- PT Plant: Clarifloculator PCC in progress.
- CHP: Excavation of JT -5&7 in progress. Conveyor
23A/B raft completed, fabrication in progress..
Stacker re-claimer foundation in progress.
- AHP: Ash slurry pump house, Vacuum pump house,
collector tank and silo works are in progress.
- ESP control room & 400 kV Switch yard works in
progress.
- Supply of piping, HPT& LPR by BHEL
