Broad Status
a) LOA Placed on M/s BGR on 09.07.2008 to
execute the project on EPC basis.
b) Zero date of the project is 9 th July’ 08.
c) Coal handling plant is awarded to M/s
TRF.
d) Ash handling plant is awarded to M/s
Macawber Beekay.
e) DM/PT plant awarded to M/s BGRESL.
f) Chimney: 191 out of 275 mtrs. RCC shell
completed.
Unit-1:
a) Boiler erection started on 7 th Dec 09.
b) Boiler drum is lifted on 19 th May’10.
Boiler erection is in progress, 460 MT out
of 5440 MT pressure part erection
completed. 1448/27531 joints completed.
c) ESP erection is in progress.
Unit-2:
a) Boiler erection started on 26th Mar 10.
b) Boiler structure erection is in progress,
2330MT out of a total 5900 MT structure
steel erection completed.
a) LOA Placed on M/s BHEL. An advance of
Rs.7421.25 lacs paid to BHEL.
b) Order for all BOPs except (C&I), has been
placed on M/s Indure.
c) C&I order has been placed on M/s IL Kota.
d) Order for Cooling Tower placed on M/s
Paharpur Cooling Tower.
e) Order for chimney also placed.
f) Order for Switchyard equipment, 6.6kV
switch gear, Generator Transformer,
Station Transformer etc. placed on M/s
ABB.
g) Excavation for boiler foundation
completed. PCC work is in progress.
h) Order for main plant civil works for both
units placed.
a) Main Plant order placed on M/s BHEL on
14.07.2009.
b) Gas supply and transmission agreement
executed with GAIL on 7.8.09 for supply
of 0.95 MMSCMD gas out of which 0.75
MMSCMD will be used for expansion
project and remaining gas will be used for
existing units.
