Broad Status
1. All required clearances are available.
2. Site mobilized in Nov.08 and Civil
works started in Dec.08.
3. On 08.08.09, truck carrying GT-1
from Mnudra port to Pipavav site
fell into river due to collapse of 3 rd
span slab of the bridge over
Shetrunji river near Bhavnagar
(about 100 km from site). CMD,
BHEL confirmed that new GT will
be supplied to the site.
4. HRSG-1&2: HRSG supply already
started & completion is expected by
06/10. HRSG -1 erection started on
24.11.09.Foundation RCC columns
work in progress for HRSG-2
5. GT-1&2: GT-1 erection start is
expected in 09/10. Reinforcement
steel placing in progress for GT-2.
6. GTG& STG building: yet to be
made ready.
7. Supply of GTs is expected by 08/10.
8. STs supply is expected by 09/10.
9. ST erection is expected from
01.10.10.
1. MOE&F clearance received on
24.05.05 with conditions of forest
land utilization for hot & cold water
channel for existing plant .
2. Zero date of the project is 22.05.07.
3. M/s TCE appointed as project
Consultant..
4. Imported Coal long term
arrangement is under process.
9.Unit No.3 & 4 Boiler drums received
at site .
10. After opening of Tech. bids, List of
6 vendors for boiler erection sent to
GSECL for approval on 26.03.09.
11. EPC progress is 13%.
12. The proposal for diversion 96.5Ha.
forest land is submitted by GoG to
MOEF. The query raised by MOEF on
21.07.09 is replied by GoG on
29.07.09. The matter was discussed in
the MOEF Forest Advisory Committee
during its meeting on 20.08.09.
13. Erection work held up due to MOEF
clearance.
