Unit Synchronized on oil on 22.10.08
at 04.12 hrs and attained load upto
10MW. Lignite firing achieved on
28.12.08. Full load operation was
expected by 20.01.09 but due to
expn.bellow blast m/c could not be
loaded beyond 35MW. Expn.Bellows
were re-designed. After that, there
was a problem in lignite crusher (not
giving -15mm size). Replacement of
expn. bellows and secondary air fan
shaft completed in 03/09. Lignite
crusher sizing problem again created
problem. M/s BHEL was not allowing
to run the unit until lignite sizing
problem attended fully. Lignite sizing
problem was also resolved. Unit again
synchronized on 20.05.09. As on
22.05.09 unit was running at a load of
45MW. There was problem in
achieving BG due to JOP failure.
Later on the bush of coupling failed.
There was problem in feeder also. Full
load achieved on 01.10.09. COD
achieved on 20.12.09.
