Setting Up Authorization
What is the difference between authentication and authorization?
Authentication is used to permit or deny access to the router.
Authorization provides the ability to restrict access to services once
the user is on the router. Authorization requires to be
activated before any command configuration can take place. This
option is oriented more toward use with access-server routers than
with traditional network gateways. Authorization, mind you, is not
required when using AAA with access servers; it's just there to
provide you with more control over users'actions if you need it.
