The command is used to configure both
ARP clients and servers. When the router is the ARP server, the option is
used in place of the NASP address. The command
specifies how long an entry can remain in the AARP table before the entry is deleted.
On the client side only, the command is
required to enable AARP:
ATM LANE is also supported on ATM interface processors. Routers can be configured
as both LANE servers and clients. Due to LANE's inherent complexity, LANE server
and client configuration is beyond the scope of this book. Please refer to the Cisco
documentation for LANE configuration information.
Displaying ATM Configuration Information
Here is a brief list of ATM status commands. Like all -based commands, they
can be retrieved using from the user EXEC shell.
• — Displays information about the DXI-maps configured on
the serial ATM interface
• —Displays information about the serial DXI PVC
• —Displays the list of ATM static maps to remote Layer 3
