Northern Lights Trade Show
The 2010 Northern Lights Trade Show and Conference organized
by the Baffin Regional Chamber of Commerce was held at the Palais des
Congrès in Montreal this past January 27 th to 30 th . Nunavik Creations
had a beautiful booth within the arts and cultural pavilion. It allowed
business people and the general public to discover and purchase our
garments and accessories.
Winter Olympics
As a Makivik subsidiary, Nunavik Creations had a great opportunity
to display and sell our products at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver next
to Avataq and Nunavik BioSciences in Quebec House, at the Francophone
Pavilion and in the Artisans Village. It was a pleasure for us to meet people
from other lands, to respond to their questions about Inuit culture
and to use this venue to promote our culture to people from other provinces
and nations.
