Notes Potential for Cumulative Effects
Decision pending.
Construction phase due to
last 30 months with a peak
workforce of 700.
Operational phase will
require 70 staff.
It is noted that the
development is in Grimsby
rather than Stallingborough
and so vehicles accessing
the development are likely to
use a different road network.
It is understood that there are
no plans to undertake any
works in the near future and
that the land may be up for
sale.
Project due to be announced
on 10/6/11, with Planning
Application due to be
submitted in August 2011
and construction
commencing in Q1 2012.
Construction Operation
Yes.
Construction is not
likely to start in 2011.
The developers are
still trying to secure
funding. However it
is possible that
construction could
start during the BOC
construction phase
and therefore, as a
worst case,
cumulative impacts
will be considered.
No considered highly
unlikely that the
construction will
commence during
the same period as
the BOC Project.
5100935.404 Environmental Statement August 2011 273
Yes.
The Planning
Application is in outline
form only and the
development will be
speculative. Details of
the development are
therefore not fully known
and it is not feasible to
quantify cumulative
impacts at this time.
Possible for certain EIA topic areas, however the
project is at an early stage of development.
Details are not yet available and are not likely to
be available for inclusion in the BOC project EIA.
Thus, the Biomass developers will need to
account for the potential cumulative impacts of
their development and the BOC development in
their EIA.
