yasmina a 7 ans lorsqu’elle se met au taekwondo. «mes petits frères en faisaient déjà. J’ai essayé, j’ai vu que cela
me plaisait et à 7 ans je passais déjà le plastron. quand j’ai vu pascal gentil et myriam baverel aux Jeux olympiques
de Sydney, je me suis dit que je voulais vivre un truc comme ça !» en 2007, yasmina réalise un premier rêve en rentrant
au pôle france à aix-en-provence. en 2008, elle découvre les joies du podium en remportant la coupe du monde
francophone puis une médaille de bronze aux championnats du monde en 2009. Son prochain rêve : devenir championne
olympique.
Yasmina started to learn taekwondo at the age of seven. ‘My little brothers were already doing it. I tried it and liked it, and
I was already wearing a chest guard when she was seven. When I saw Pascal Gentil and Myriam Baverel at the Sydney
Olympics, I said to myself that I wanted to experience something like that!’ In 2007, Yasmina achieved one of her dreams
for the first time when she was accepted as a member of the French team in Aix-en-Provence. In 2008, she discovered the
joys of the podium when she won the Francophone World Cup followed by a bronze medal in the 2009 World Championships.
Her next dream is to become an Olympic champion.

haby fait un peu de danse hip-hop à l’âge de 8 ans avant de découvrir le taekwondo l’année de ses 10 ans, à mantesla-Jolie.
très vite, elle dispute ses premières compétitions et enchaine les médailles. repérée lors des championnats
de france cadettes en 2007, elle se verra proposer une place au pôle espoir de chatenay-malabry. elle rejoindra
l’année suivante le pôle france d’aix-en-provence. aujourd’hui entraînée à l’inSep, haby fait partie des meilleures
athlètes mondiales dans sa catégorie. Si elle a brillamment qualifié sa catégorie pour les Jeux de rio, il ne reste plus
que quelques mois à haby pour concrétiser son rêve d’or olympique.
Haby did a little bit of hip hop at the age of eight before discovering taekwondo when she was 10, in Mantes-la-Jolie. Very
soon, she entered her first competitions and won medals. She was spotted during the French junior championships in 2007
and was offered a place in the young persons’ team in Chatenay-Malabry. The following year, she joined the French team
in Aix-en-Provence. Haby now trains at the INSEP and is one of the world’s best athletes in her category. Haby performed
brilliantly to qualify in her category for the Rio Olympics and she now has only a few months left to achieve her dream of
Olympic gold.
