İYİ Tasarım
Riuus, günümüze kadar gelen klasik radyatör algısının
kalıplarına karşın, radyatörü sadece duvara bağlı sabit bir
nesne olmaktan çıkarmak amacıyla bir mekan bileşeni
olarak tasarlandı. İç mekanlarda işlevsel ve estetik bir
öğe olarak duvarda kullanılan Riuus, ısıtmanın yanında
geniş açıklıklı mekanlarda bölücü eleman görevi de
görebiliyor. İznik Çinileri, geleneksel kültürün bir parçası
olarak tasarımın ana çıkış noktasını oluştururken,
soyutlama sürecinde, ürünün işlevsel özellikleri öncelikli
olarak çözümlendi. Ulaşılan form ile elde edilen hatlar,
standart ürünlere kıyasla, yüzey alanını genişleterek
daha fazla ısının yayılmasını sağlıyor. Ayrıca form, ürünün
duvarda veya mekan içinde bölücü olarak yatay ve düşey
yönde kullanımına da olanak tanıyor. Öncelikle ana
gövdede kullanılan paslanmaz çelik ve malzeme kesiti
ile ilişkilendirilen porselen küre parçalar, sıcak - soğuk
dengesini yaratmak ve ürünün işlevselliğine katkı sağlamak
amacıyla tasarlandı. Kullanılan malzemelerin seçimi ve
malzemelerin ışık dengesi ile yüzeylerde yaratılan tezatlık,
mekan tasarımına katkı sağlıyor.

The Riuus contradicts our perception of the classic radiator
which has gone before, in that it has not just been designed
as simply a wall-mounted object, but as an interior
component. The Riuus is both a functional and aesthetic
object used on the wall performing the function of heating,
and can also be used to divide areas in large interior spaces.
İznik Tile work, which is a part of traditional culture, formed
the main starting point of the design. During the abstraction
process, a re-interpretation of these patterns was used,
and the primary issues of the product’s functional features
were resolved. The lines obtained with the design form
expand the surface area which promotes more heat than
standard products. In addition, the form allows the product
to be used on the wall or as a separator in the space in a
horizontal or vertical position. The stainless steel used on
the main body and the spherical outlines associated with the
porcelain section of material, were designed to create a coolwarm
balance and to contribute to the functionality of the
product. The contrast created on the surface by the choice of
materials and the effect of light on the materials, add to an
attractive interior design.
