Pişirme gereçlerinde kullanılan sentetik bazlı malzemelerin
sağlığı tehdit etmesi üzerine çıkan tartışmalar, doğal
malzemelerden üretilen ürünlere olan talebi artırdı ve
geleneksel döküm tencere ve tavaların kullanımını tekrar
yaygınlaştı. Tencere, tava ve sahandan oluşan bir set olan
Cusinero, demir döküm ve emaye kaplama ürünlerde
köklü bir geçmişi olan markanın döküm pişirme gereçleri
pazarına da etkili bir giriş yapabilmesi ve hem ulusal, hem
de uluslararası pazarda kendisine seçmiş olduğu konumda
rekabet edebilmesi hedeflenerek tasarlandı. Alışılagelmiş
geleneksel tarzın bir adım ötesine geçerek, işlevsel
ihtiyaçların yanı sıra, kullanıcının estetik beklentilerini
de en iyi şekilde karşılayabilmesi, projenin en önemli
unsurları olarak öne çıkıyor. Cusinero, geleneksel pişirme
yöntemlerini koruyarak, modern ve yeni mutfak trendleriyle
uyumlu bir pişirme seti olarak tasarlandı. Cusinero’nun
tasarımı ile pazardaki diğer demir döküm pişirme
gereçlerinden farklılaşması ve hedef kullanıcı kitlesinde
marka algısının oluşturulması amaçlandı.

Farklılık ve yenilikçilik, üretim için tasarım kalitesi: yeni
bir endüstrinin veya iş kolunun, yeni istihdam alanlarının
doğuşuna yol açması; malzeme kullanımı, üst yüzey işlemi ve
detayların kullanıcıda bıraktığı üstün kalite algısı.
Discussions on the negative effects on health of synthetic
material based cookware have increased the demand
for products made from natural materials. It is because
of this that the use of traditional cast iron cookware has
become popular. Cusinero is a set of cookware consisting
of a pot, a grill pan, and a frying pan designed for Silver,
a well-established brand name for products in cast iron
and with enamel covering. As the very first cookware of
the brand in the sector, Cusinero was designed to make a
high-profie entrance into the market and make the Silver
brand known as a competitive product in cast iron cookware
both in the national and international market. One step
ahead of traditional styles, the design aimed to meet both
the aesthetical and functional expectations of the user. The
items in the set are designed in line with modern kitchen
trends while preserving traditional cooking methods. The
most important aspect of the project was to launch Cusinero,
setting it apart from other cast iron cookware in the market,
and creating brand awareness of Silver on the target user
group.
Jury Evaluation
Benefits for the user, design quality for manufacture: its
practical and easily comprehendible use; the perception by
the user of high quality through its use of materials, its upper
surface treatment and details.
