Serpil Sedef Yağcı, 1987 yılında Trabzon’da doğdu. Eğitimine 2005
yılında Anadolu Üniversitesi, Endüstriyel Tasarım Bölümü’nde başladı.
2007 yılında Imm Cologne fuarına Işık & Hissiyat projesi dahilinde
katılımcı olarak bulundu. 2009 yılında mezun olmadan önce, Erasmus
programı ile Portekiz’de Escola De Superior Arts E Design’da bir
dönem eğitim gördü. 2009 yılında mezun olduktan sonra Vestel
Beyaz Eşya bünyesinde, Teknoloji Geliştirme ve Endüstriyel Tasarım
Departmanı’nda endüstriyel tasarımcı olarak çalışmaya başladı.
2009 yılından bu yana, bu bölümde uzman endüstriyel tasarımcı
olarak çalışıyor. Vestel Beyaz Eşya tasarım ekibi ile katıldığı ulusal ve
uluslararası tasarım yarışmalarında bir çok ödüle layık görüldü.
Serpil Sedef Yağcı was born in Trabzon in 1987, and in 2005, she started
her education in the Department of Industrial Design at Anadolu
University. In 2007, she participated in the Imm Cologne Design Fair
as an exhibitor in the project called Light & Sense. In 2009, before
finishing university, she studied for one semester through the Erasmus
programme at ESAD (Escola De Superior Arts E Design) in Portugal.
After graduating in 2009, she started to work as an industrial designer
for the Vestel White Goods Company in the Department of Technology
Development and Industrial Design. From 2009 onwards, she has been
working as an industrial design specialist in the same department.
With the Vestel White Goods industrial design team, her work has been
found worthy of several international and national industrial design
awards.

Seyman Çay, İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi, Endüstri Ürünleri Tasarımı
Bölümü’nden mezun oldu. 2002 yılında MG Design - Stuttgart ofisinde
tasarımcı olarak görev aldı. Almanya’daki işbirliğini 2004 yılında MG
Design-İstanbul ofisi kurucu ortağı olarak Türkiye’ye taşıdı. Halen
İstanbul ofisinde tasarım yöneticiliği yapıyor. Yer aldığı tasarım
projeleri ile Design Turkey, Red - Dot, IF, Design Preis Deutschland,
Focus Open, Plus-X gibi organizasyonlarda birçok ödül aldı. Yürüttüğü
tasarım çalışmalarının yanı sıra ulusal yarışma jürilerinde yer alıyor.
İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi’nde bilgisayar destekli tasarım ve
endüstriyel tasarım proje dersleri veriyor.
Seyman Çay graduated from the Department of Industrial Design
at Istanbul Technical University. In 2002, he started to work as a
designer for the MG Design – Stuttgart Office. In 2004, he became
the co-founding partner of the MG Design – Istanbul Office which
was established in collaboration with its counterpart in Germany. He
continues to work as the design manager in the Istanbul office. His
design projects have won several awards in competitions such as
Design Turkey, Red Dot, IF, Design Preis Deutschland, Focus Open and
Plus-X. He also takes part in national design competitions as a jury
member, and gives lectures in computer-aided design programmes
and industrial design projects at Istanbul Technical University.
