Steve Jones, ayakkabı tasarımcılığı yaptıktan ve gemi
yapımında çalıştıktan sonra Northumbria University’de
Endüstriyel Tasarım okudu. Mezun olduktan sonra ürün ve
iç mekan tasarım alanlarında danışman olarak çalıştı. 1999
yılında Russell Cameron ile birlikte Innermost’u kurdu.
Günümüz tasarımlarının çeşitliliğini temsil eden bir marka
oluşturmayı hedefleyen şirket, şu an 50’nin üzerinde ülkede
satış yapıyor ve Shin Azumi, Michael Young gibi isimlerin
çalışmalarını içeren bir çeşitliliğe sahip. Kariyeri boyunca
Tom Dixon, Knoll, Citterio, Artel & Ingo Muarer gibi çeşitli
müşterilere danışmanlık yaptı. Zamanını Innermost’un
iki büyük operasyon merkezi olan Londra ve Hong Kong
arasında geçiriyor.
Steve Jones, after working on the design of shoes and
the construction of ships, studied at the Industrial Design
Department of Northumbria University. After graduating,
he worked as a consultant in the fields of product design
and interior design. In 1999, he and Russell Cameron
established Innermost. With the aim of creating a brand
name representative of the scope of contemporary design,
the company sells its products in over 50 different countries
worldwide. The company works with a variety of names
including Shin Azumi, Michael Young. During his career, he
has provided consultancy services for a number of customers
including Tom Dixon, Knoll, Citterio, Artel & Ingo Muarer. He
spends his time working at Innermost’s two largest centres
of operation in London and Hong Kong.
