Hürmüs Ayaz, eğitimini tamamladıktan sonra çalıştığı seramik
üreticisi firmalarda, öncelikle tabak ve çaydanlık gibi masa üstü
seramik ürünlerinin tasarımı ve üzerine uygulanan dekorların tasarımı
konusunda çalışmalar yaptı. Daha sonra, yer ve duvar kaplamalarının
hem üretim tekniğinin geliştirilmesi hem de ürünlerin tasarımı
üzerinde çalışmalara başladı. Bu çalışmaları kapsamında, seramik
bünyelerin renklendirilmesi üzerine yoğunlaştı ve geleneksel ebru
sanatının seramik üretiminde uygulaması tekniğini geliştirdi. Bu
teknik ile yer ve duvar kaplaması, fayans, mozaik gibi tasarımların
yanı sıra mimarlar ile birlikte çalışarak özgün duvar ve yer pano
tasarımları yaptı. Çalışmalarına halen ortağı da olduğu Ag Porselen
A.Ş.’de devam ediyor.
After finishing her education, Hürmüs Ayaz worked mainly on the
design and decoration of ceramic tableware such as plates and
teapots in a number of ceramic production companies. She then
went on to explore new areas in the design of wall and floor tiles, and
worked on both improving production techniques and product design.
While working on these ceramic products, she focused on colouring
techniques, and developed a method to apply traditional marbling
techniques to the production of ceramics. With this technique, she
made designs for floor and wall tiles and mosaics. She also made wall
and floor panels, and has worked with architectures and designers to
create new and original designs and panels. She continues to work in
Ag Porcelain Ltd. where she is one of the partners.

IPDD, Stefan Lippert tarafından 1994 yılında bir tasarım ofisi olarak

Since its foundation as a design agency by Stefan Lippert in Stuttgart in
1994, IPDD has grown to be a major player in the design industry. IPDD
stands for Industrial Product Design and Development, and with more
than 20 employees has established itself as a major provider of product
development and design in Germany.
