The creditor s hall not be accountable for the support<br />
and maintainance*of his debtor in execution, while such<br />
dedtor avails himself of the prison bounds, unless the<br />
jailor shall actually furnish the debtor with his board<br />
and lodging.<br />
Attending the circuit court, when required, a sum not<br />
exceeding one dollar per day, to be paid out of the treasury.<br />
Keeping jail clean, furnishing fuel, Sec. for jail, and<br />
ammunition for guards, to lie paid by the counties.<br />
Elisors, shall receive foi their services the following<br />
fees; for summoning a venire, two dollars.<br />
Attending court, per ciay, two dollars.<br />
Guards shall receive for their services the following<br />
fees; of a criminal in jail, per clay, to be paid by the<br />
county, if the jail is insufficient, and if not out of the<br />
treasury, seventy live cents.<br />
For taking a convict to the penitentiary, per mile, going<br />
and returning, six cents.<br />
Guarding a prisoner to jail, (the guard furnishing<br />
themselves) per mile three cents.<br />
2. Be it Jurther enactedyTlv&U none of the fees herein<br />
before mentioned shall be payable by any person whatsoever<br />
until thereashall lie produced or ready to be produced<br />
unto the person owing or chargeable with the same,<br />
a bill or account in writing containing the particulars of<br />
such fees signed by the clerk or officer to whom such<br />
fees shall be "due or by whom the same shall be chargeable<br />
respectively, in which said hill or account shall be<br />
expressed in words at length and in the same manner as<br />
the fees aforesaid are allowed Tjy this act, and all such<br />
fee bills shall have the force of an execution, and the<br />
sheriff or constable shall receive, collet and account for<br />
them in the same manner and under like penalties as for<br />
executions, and receive six per cent, as a compensation<br />
therefor to be deducted out of the monies received; Provided,<br />
that nothing in this section contained shall autho-<br />
rize an execution for legal costs on real estate.<br />
