Dropping a
Sandbox
3 To finish and remove sharing, click OK.
Working With Sandboxes
The sandbox is no longer shared. If the Sandbox view is open, Sharing
is removed from the title. Otherwise, the next time you open the
Sandbox view, Sharing does not appear in the title bar.
Users sharing the sandbox each receive an error message stating the
change in sharing configuration the next time they attempt to access
the sandbox or perform an operation on its contents.
When a sandbox has outlived its usefulness or just does not belong
anymore, you can remove it at any time.
To drop a sandbox means that the sandbox is no longer registered with the
Integrity Server. Once a sandbox is dropped, it cannot be accessed with
Source Integrity. However, the sandbox is not deleted and you can import
it again if you want it to be accessible in Source Integrity.
To drop a sandbox in the graphical user interface
1 Do one of the following:
Select Tools > Manage Sandboxes.
Click .
The Registered Sandboxes view is displayed.
TIP
The Registered Sandboxes view supports standard shortcut menus. To display
the menu of actions you can perform, select a sandbox and right click.
Source Integrity displays the applicable shortcut menu.
2 Select the sandbox you want to drop.
3 Click Drop.
4 Confirm that you want to drop the sandbox by clicking OK.
The Drop Sandbox dialog box is displayed.
