4 To set the maximum amount of memory reserved for the Integrity<br />

client at runtime, under Miscellaneous in the Maximum heap size field,<br />

enter a value in megabytes (MB), or use the up and down arrows to<br />

select a value. The minimum value is 5, and the maximum value is<br />

dependent on your available system memory. The default value is 48.<br />

CAUTION<br />

Changing the heap size setting may unfavorably affect the performance of the<br />

Integrity Client and your system. Consult your administrator before making<br />

changes.<br />

For the heap size change to take effect, restart the Integrity client.<br />

Setting Desktop Preferences<br />

You can set desktop preferences specifically for Source Integrity.<br />

To set desktop preferences for Source Integrity in the graphical user<br />

interface<br />

1 From the Preferences Configuration dialog box (see “Setting<br />

Preferences” on page 40), in the tree pane, click Source Integrity ><br />

Desktop.<br />

The Desktop pane is displayed.<br />

2 To restore all active windows when you restart Source Integrity,<br />

under Miscellaneous, select the Restore Desktop option.<br />

IMPORTANT<br />

You must restart the Source Integrity graphical user interface to activate the<br />

Restore Desktop option.<br />
