Setting Preferences<br />

The Restore Desktop option remembers which windows were open<br />

when you last exited the Source Integrity graphical user interface.<br />

When you restart the Source Integrity graphical user interface the<br />

active windows appear automatically in the main view. Restore<br />

Desktop remembers a maximum of 10 windows.<br />

If you were accessing projects or sandboxes residing on different<br />

servers, when you close and restart the Source Integrity graphical user<br />

interface you must log in again. Source Integrity automatically<br />

restores the windows that were open for that particular server<br />

connection.<br />

You can configure the default settings for server and proxy connections.<br />

You can override the default settings when manually connecting to the<br />

Integrity Server.<br />

To set connection preferences in the graphical user interface<br />

1 From the Preferences Configuration dialog box (see “Setting<br />

Preferences” on page 40), in the tree pane, click Source Integrity ><br />

Connection.<br />

The Connection pane is displayed.<br />

2 On the Connection pane configure the following options:<br />

Under Default Server Connection specify the following options:<br />

To specify a default Integrity Server to connect to in the Host<br />

Name field, type the name of the server, for example, abc_nt,<br />

or the numerical IP address, for example, 1.2.34.56.<br />

In the Port field, type the port number.<br />
