Setting Preferences
The Restore Desktop option remembers which windows were open
when you last exited the Source Integrity graphical user interface.
When you restart the Source Integrity graphical user interface the
active windows appear automatically in the main view. Restore
Desktop remembers a maximum of 10 windows.
If you were accessing projects or sandboxes residing on different
servers, when you close and restart the Source Integrity graphical user
interface you must log in again. Source Integrity automatically
restores the windows that were open for that particular server
connection.
You can configure the default settings for server and proxy connections.
You can override the default settings when manually connecting to the
Integrity Server.
To set connection preferences in the graphical user interface
1 From the Preferences Configuration dialog box (see “Setting
Preferences” on page 40), in the tree pane, click Source Integrity >
Connection.
The Connection pane is displayed.
2 On the Connection pane configure the following options:
Under Default Server Connection specify the following options:
To specify a default Integrity Server to connect to in the Host
Name field, type the name of the server, for example, abc_nt,
or the numerical IP address, for example, 1.2.34.56.
In the Port field, type the port number.
