For more information on the <strong>com</strong>mand line interface, see “Command Line Interface” on page 98. IMPORTANT Members must be checked out before you can merge them. If you do not want to use MKS Visual Difference or MKS Visual Merge to merge revisions in the graphical user interface, you can merge revisions automatically. To merge revisions automatically in the graphical user interface 1 From a Sandbox or Member History view, select the revisions you want to merge. 2 Do one of the following: From the Sandbox view, select Member > Diff/Merge > Merge. From the Member History view, select History > Merge. The Merge dialog box is displayed. 3 Specify the revisions you want to merge. You can specify a revision by name from the Symbolic list, specify a particular revision from the Revision list, or specify a revision by label from the Label list. u s e r g u i d e
4 Click OK to continue. Merging Revisions The Merge dialog box is displayed (if your preferences are set to confirm the action to be taken, see “Command Preferences” on page 48) 5 Select Automatically and click OK. The revisions are merged. If Source Integrity encounters a conflict, depending on your preferences (see “Command Preferences” on page 48), the Conflict resolution dialog box is displayed. The merge operation may be canceled, the MKS Visual Merge tool may be launched, the output file may be highlighted, or the revisions may be marked for merging later. Select an option, then Click OK. Source Integrity provides a message indicating why the merge was canceled. 6 Check in the merged revision. 355
