Locking Revisions
To lock a revision in the graphical user interface and Web interface
1 With a Member History view open, select a revision to lock.
2 Do one of the following:
Select History > Lock.
Click .
If your administrator has enabled the integration with Integrity
Manager and set the IMTrackLocksEnabled option, Source Integrity
opens the Lock Revision dialog box.
3 Configure the following options as necessary:
Change Package options appear only if change packages are
enabled. Select a change package from the Change Package drop
down list, or click Create to create a new change package.
Force Creation of New Branch causes Source Integrity to create a
branch off of the revision you are locking.
In the Web interface only, select an option from the list:
Select Yes to create a new branch.
Select No to not create a new branch.
Select Confirm to be asked for confirmation of the action to
be taken if branch creation is required.
Create Branch if Variant causes Source Integrity to create a branch
off of the revision you are locking, if you are working in a variant
sandbox. This option is available only through the graphical user
interface and command line interface.
To apply the lock with the selected options, click OK. To apply locks to
multiple files, click OK to All.
