Chapter 3: Getting Started Using Source Integrity 26 If you accept the license agreement, the Select Integrity Client Components panel is displayed. 5 Depending on the product components you are licensed to use, select Integrity Manager, Source Integrity, Administration Client, or a combination of your choice. NOTE To perform configuration tasks for the Integrity Server, administrators should select Administration Client. 6 To continue, click Next. The Integrity Client Installation Location panel is displayed. 7 To specify where you want to install the Integrity Client, do one of the following: To accept the default path location, click Next. For example, by default, the Windows Integrity Client is installed to: C:\Program Files\MKS\IntegrityClient To find the directory where you want to install the Integrity Client, click Browse. To continue, click Next. Type the path of the directory where you want to install the Integrity Client. If the directory does not exist, it is automatically created. To continue, click Next. NOTE If at any time you want to restore the default location, click Restore Default Directory and then click Next to continue. 8 In step 5, if you chose to install more than one product, the Specify Server Connection Default panel is displayed. Select one of the following options and click Next to continue: Same Integrity Server for all components Different Integrity Server for each component In step 5, if you chose to install only one product component, the Specify Integrity Server Connections panel is displayed, displaying fields for server host name(s) and port(s) based on the product you chose to install. NOTE Installing the Integrity Client By default, the listening port for the Integrity Server is 7001. Administrators must notify users of the assigned port number. Administrators can change the default listening port for their site by modifying the property for weblogic.system.listenPort under / mksis/weblogic.properties. If the Integrity Manager component is running on a different server, the Integrity Manager listening port is set by modifying the property for im.port under /mksis/ si.properties. The Specify Integrity Server Connections panel is displayed. The following shows an example of a completed panel for Specify Integrity Server Connections where different servers are selected for each product. By default, the Administration Client uses the server and port specified for Source Integrity. The Select Source Integrity Reporting Application panel is displayed. The Source Integrity Reporter utility helps you analyze projects, their members, or individual archives, and allows you to generate a variety of graphs and reports based on its findings. The Source Integrity Reporter utility stores its data using Microsoft Access 97. 27
