Members to a
Project

Managing Project Members
If filters are specified in the Non-Members view preferences, those filter
settings appear in the Non-Member Filter dialog box. Only modifications made
to the filter settings in the Preferences Configuration dialog box are saved. For
more information, see “View Preferences” on page 61.
The Include panel displays the Files and Directories tabs. You can add
any combination of files or directories to appear in the Non-Member
view by adding them from the Include panel. By specifying files types
to include, all file types not specified are excluded. To include all
possible file types, clear the list.
Similarly, on the Exclude panel, you can add files or directories to the
exclude list, thereby preventing them from appearing in the
Non-Member view. All file types not specified are included.
In the event of a conflict, the values in the Exclude panel supersede the
values in the Include panel.
2 To add a file or directory, click the appropriate tab to display the
panel.
3 In the text entry field, enter the name of the file or directory, then click
Add.
TIP
To specify all files with a specific file extension, use the wildcard (*), for
example, *.java.
To edit the name of the file or directory, select the name in the list,
then click Edit.
To remove a file or directory, select the name in the list, then click
Remove.
4 When you are finished, click OK to save the filter settings.
Once you create a project, you can add files to it, making them members of
that project.
A project member is any file that is included in a project. Project members
are displayed in the Project view.
In the graphical user interface you can add members through the sandbox.
In the Web interface, because sandboxes do not exist, you can add
members through the project only.
