To create a change package in the graphical user interface
1 Create a change package in one of the following ways:
With a Project, Sandbox, or Member History view open, select
Change Package > Create.
With a Manage Change Packages window open, do one of the
following:
Select Change Package > Create.
Click .
Create a change package when performing a member operation
(see “Operations That Add Entries to a Change Package” on
page 215).
In to the Change Package portion of the panel, click Create.
The Create Change Package dialog box is displayed.
2 In the Summary field, enter a summary of the change package. A value
for this field is mandatory
3 In the Description field, if necessary, enter a detailed description of the
change package.
NOTE
If the Integrity Manager integration is enabled, when you create a change
package you can associate it with an issue. For more information, see “Creating
a Change Package for an Issue” on page 375.
