The Edit Change Package dialog box is displayed.<br />

4 Edit the change package as required:<br />

In the Summary field, enter a new summary for the change<br />

package or add to the existing summary.<br />

In the State field, select a state for the change package from the<br />

list (see “CP States” on page 241).<br />

If reviews are mandatory, change packages in state CommitFailed,<br />

Rejected, or Discarded can be moved to the Open state as part of<br />

the state workflow. For more information, see “Change Package<br />

Review Process” on page 240.<br />

In the Description field, enter a new description for the change<br />

package or add to the existing description.<br />

5 Click OK to save your changes.<br />

Once the necessary changes are made to the members and they are<br />

<strong>com</strong>mitted to the repository, the change package can be closed.<br />

In addition to this procedure, you can close a change package in the<br />

graphical user interface when performing member operations (see<br />

“Operations That Add Entries to a Change Package” on page 215).<br />

If the Integrity Manager integration is enabled, closing a change package<br />

allows the issue to move forward in the Integrity Manager workflow. For<br />

more information, see “The Integrity Manager Integration” on page 371.<br />

NOTE<br />

You can only close a change package that you have created unless you have<br />

administrative permissions.<br />
