Controlling Members
Member Branch Tip updates the member revision to the latest
revision along the member’s current branch of development.
Saved Revision Rule updates the member revision to a saved
revision. The revision is one that was saved in the CLI using
--save option with the si updaterevision command, and can
be a specified revision or any symbolic revision. For more
information, see the Source Integrity Enterprise Edition CLI
Reference Guide.
To select a specific revision, click Specific Revision, then click the
Revisions, Labels, or Project tab to choose a revision.
The Revisions tab allows you to select a specific revision to make
the member revision.
The Labels tab allows you to make a specific labeled revision the
member revision.
The Project tab allows you set the member revision for the
following options:
Member revision on Variant allows you to make a specific
variant revision the member revision.
Member revision on a Project Build allows you to make a
specific build revision or label the member revision.
4 To add the operation to a change package, from the Change Package
list, select a change package. To create a change package, click Create.
For more information, see “Creating a Change Package” on page 217.
5 Under Options, you can specify the following information:
6 To commit the operation later, select Defer Update Revision.
If the change package reviews are mandatory, select this option to
create a pending entry for this operation at the time of change package
submission. If this option is not enabled, Source Integrity creates the
pending entry at the completion of this procedure. For more
information, see “Change Package Review Process” on page 240.
7 To close the change package when the operation is complete, select
Close Change Package.
8 To set the member revision, click OK (for multiple members, click OK
to All).
The member is updated to the specified revision.
