Your changes display immediately on the main toolbar. The new
button icon is now positioned to the right of the selected toolbar
button.
To configure a view’s toolbar in the graphical user interface
1 Select Tools > Preferences.
The Preferences dialog box opens.
2 Click the Views tab, then from the View list, select a view.
3 Click .
The Configure toolbar dialog box opens.
4 Configure the toolbar as desired. For more information, see “To
customize the main toolbar in the graphical user interface” on page 82.
Dialog boxes that you may encounter include check boxes for many
options. A blank check box ( ) means the option is not enabled, a check
mark ( ) means the option is enabled, and a question mark ( ) means
you will be prompted to confirm or specify the option.
For large projects, use filters to display only the relevant members for your
task. Filters allow you to view and manipulate a predefined subset of
project members that are grouped according to their properties.
NOTE
The list of built-in filters only displays if a Project or Sandbox view is active.
You must expand your project (including subprojects), or your sandbox
(including subsandboxes), to view the filtered members.
In the graphical user interface, and Project and Sandbox views, filters
appear in the Filter list located on the toolbar.
Filters for the Project History and Member History views are also available.
For information on applying filters in the Project History view, see “Project
History Filters” on page 264. For information on applying filters in the
Member History view, see “Member History Filters” on page 311.
By selecting the option for Hide Empty Sandboxes or Hide Empty Projects,
you can also choose to remove any sandboxes or projects that do not
contain members.
