Change<br />

Packages View<br />

Project displays the name and path of the project that the member<br />

belongs to. If the entry occurred from a shared subproject, it is the<br />

subproject name and path that are displayed.<br />

Variant displays the name of the variant development path (if a<br />

variant was used) the change package entry occurred on.<br />

Date Changed displays the date the entry was made.<br />

Server displays the host name of the server the entry was made<br />

on.<br />

In the GUI, additional columns are available in the client preferences.<br />

To change the displayed columns, see “View Preferences” on page 61.<br />

If reviews are mandatory, the Review Log panel displays review<br />

information. For more information, see “Viewing the CP Review Log”<br />

on page 250.<br />

The Change Packages view and Manage Change Packages window display<br />

information in the same way. The Manage Change Packages window only<br />

displays change your open change packages (see “Managing Change<br />

Packages” on page 220), whereas the Change Packages view displays all<br />

change packages queried (see “Finding Change Packages” on page 222).<br />

By default, the Change Packages view displays the following information:<br />

ID displays the change package ID.<br />

Issue displays the issue ID if Integrity Manager is enabled.<br />

Creator displays the username of the person who created the change<br />

package.<br />

State displays current state of the change package, which can be Open<br />

or Closed.<br />

Summary displays the summary statement for the change package.<br />

Additional columns are available in the client preferences. To change the<br />

displayed columns, see “View Preferences” on page 61.<br />

From the Change Packages view, you can perform the following tasks<br />

using the Change Package menu:<br />

View Change Package entries and information (see “Viewing Change<br />

Package Details and Entries” on page 226)<br />

View Issue that is associated with the change package (see “Viewing a<br />

Change Package’s Issue” on page 376)<br />

Submit the change package (see “Submitting Change Packages” on<br />

page 238)<br />
