Frond nearly flat or cylindrical, gelatinoso-membranaceous,<br />

of a pinky-red colour, more or less dichotomous, the segments<br />

often laciniated. Fructification ; punctiform globules of seeds, imbedded<br />

in the central substance of the frond. Grev. Alg. Brit,<br />
