at Finlarig, Perthshire, a variety growing on trees (especially the<br />

Sycamore), in which the nerves are gemmiferous, the genuncc clothing<br />

the upper-side of the nerve, near the middle of the leaf, of a roundish<br />

or oblong form, green, reticulated ; the nerve, however, is by no means<br />

so dilated as that of the gemmiferous Gymnostomum oval inn.<br />
