He is one of the founders of the e-group jivika.
Vandana Upadhyay is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Economics,
Rajiv Gandhi University, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. In 2006–07,
she was a Commonwealth Academic Fellow attached to the Department
of International Development, Queen Elizabeth House, University of
Oxford. Her research interests include energy security, gender and human
development. She is one of the authors of the first Human Development
Report of Arunachal Pradesh. She has also co-authored a report, Situational
Analysis of Women and Girls in Arunachal Pradesh, for the National Commission
for Women, New Delhi.
