Species Description<br />

A large dark-brown rat with dark thick coarse hairs<br />

all over the body. Underside is light grey. Has a long<br />

elongated face, pointed muzzle and roundish pink<br />

ears. Tail is almost naked and lighter than the body,<br />

feet are pink.<br />
