Table 3.4 displays the results <strong>of</strong> inter-strain comparisons Salmonella enterica. The mean log 10 density <strong>of</strong> cells recovered from Salmonella<br />

enterica subspecies enterica serovar Agona outbreak strains S09-0494 (highlighted in bold font) was compared to 2 S. Typhimurium strains<br />

(S09-0419 and SL1344) and S. Enteritidis S09-0717 though the assessing difference in mean log 10 density values (Diff) and the significance<br />

attributed (denoted by p). The S. Enteritidis strain S09-0717 was also compared to the 2 S. Typhimurium strains S09-419 and SL1344.<br />
