1X in vitro transcription stop solution:<br />

1 mM EDTA<br />

50 mM sodium acetate<br />

0.2% SDS<br />

1X primer extension stop solution:<br />

50% (v/v) glycerol<br />

10 mM EDTA (pH 8.0)<br />

0.25% (w/v) bromophenol blue<br />

0.25% (w/v) xylene cyanol FF<br />

Lysozyme:<br />

10 mg/ml in 10 mM Tris-Cl (pH 8.0)<br />

6X gel loading solution:<br />

0.25% (w/v) bromophenol blue<br />

0.25% (w/v) xylene cyanol FF<br />

40% (w/v) sucrose in water<br />

Norfloxacin:<br />

20 mg/ml stock prepared in 0.5M sodium hydroxide solution.<br />
