The cardiac silhouette is<br />

markedly enlarged <strong>and</strong> rounded. A,<br />

On the lateral radiograph the trachea<br />

is mildly elevated cranial to the tracheal<br />

bifurcation. The main stem<br />

bronchi deflect ventrally beyond the<br />

tracheal bifurcation. The radiographic<br />

findings are indicative of<br />

pericardial fluid. Diagnosis:<br />

Hemopericardium secondary to<br />

right atrial hemangiosarcoma. The<br />

diagnosis was determined by pericardiocentesis<br />

<strong>and</strong> necropsy examination.<br />
