cranial mediastinum extending to<br />

the heart base. The trachea is displaced<br />

dorsally in the lateral radiograph<br />

(A) <strong>and</strong> markedly to the<br />

right in the ventrodorsal view (B)<br />

(arrows). The abrupt nature of the<br />

tracheal deviation indicates the presence<br />

of a heart base mass. Diagnosis:<br />

Aortic body tumor.<br />
