dyspneic at rest but did not have sufficient<br />

lung abnormalities to justify<br />

the degree of respiratory dysfunction.<br />

Left lateral <strong>and</strong> ventrodorsal<br />

radiographs of the dog revealed that<br />

the right diaphragmatic crus was<br />

positioned well cranial of the left<br />

crus on both views. At fluoroscopy,<br />

the crura moved in opposite directions,<br />

indicating the right one was<br />

paralyzed. Diagnosis: Right hemidiaphragmatic<br />

paralysis.<br />
