The dog also had harsh lung sounds<br />

<strong>and</strong> a grade 2/6 systolic murmur.<br />

There is a fluid-dense infiltrate in the<br />

cranial lung lobes bilaterally. The<br />

infiltrate is coalescent <strong>and</strong> poorly<br />

marginated. There are air bronchograms<br />

noted within these lung<br />

lobes, especially in the cranial ventral<br />

lung. This is consistent with a bacterial<br />

or aspiration pneumonia.<br />

Diagnosis: Bacterial pneumonia.<br />
